About

Charles is a partner in the corporate group.  He joined the firm in 1999 and became a partner in 2004.  He advises both public and private companies with a particular emphasis on M&A transactions (both domestic and cross-border) as well as venture capital transactions and restructurings. Industry sectors he has in depth experience of include healthcare technology, advertising, energy, digital commerce and communications.  

Charles works closely with the commercial technology group BPO, BTO and IT outsourcing team and contributes to the Outsourcing chapter for Practical Commercial Precedents, the UK's leading precedent textbook.

Charles has been recommended in Legal 500.

Charles graduated from Cambridge University and joined our practice from Sidley & Austin (now Sidley Austin LLP) after working at Arthur Robinson Hedderwick.
