Exporting personal data from the UK: key do's and don'ts

Wednesday 30 April 2008

With well publicised glitches in 2007, data protection continues to move up the business agenda. More and more of our clients are asking us to advise on ensuring that data transfers to outside the UK take place in a regulatorily compliant way that is efficient, effective and proportionate for their business. This session looks at how this might be achieved.

This Corporate Counsel Forum session is led by Calum Murray, our Commercial Technology practice head. Also presenting is Lee Taylor, Data Protection Policy Manager, from the Information Commissioner's Office, who will give the regulator's perspective.
