Kemp Little acts for sorrent, inc. on acquisition of macrospace limited

Kemp Little LLP, the specialist City law firm, advised Sorrent, Inc., a leading creator and global publisher of mobile entertainment, on its recent acquisition of Macrospace Limited, an award-winning mobile games publisher and mobile gaming solutions provider for network operators, service providers, handset manufacturers, media companies and intellectual property owners around the world. The combination of companies created overnight a global powerhouse in mobile gaming, with combined distribution to more than 90 wireless carriers and 800 million mobile subscribers worldwide.

Partner Lucy Vernall and senior associate Andy Moseby in the corporate group at Kemp Little LLP advised Sorrent, Inc. on the UK aspects of the deal, which completed on 15th December 2004. Richard Dickson and Dave Borders of Fenwick & West LLP acted for Sorrent, Inc. in the US.
