Kemp Little strengthens equity partnership
Kemp Little LLP, the leading technology and digital media law firm, is pleased to announce that Marian Bloodworth and Rachael Barber have been promoted to Equity Partnership.
Marian joined in 2015 and has helped to build a thriving employment and FS law practice, leading on the firm’s SMCR advice offering whilst also being Deputy Chair of the national Employment Lawyers Association, on the Advisory Board of Women in Banking and Finance, a committee Co-Chair for CityHR and named on the Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Powerlist. Her connections with Plexal, the tech innovation hub which launched on the former Olympic site in East London in 2016 led to Kemp Little being appointed as sole legal services provider to its members.
Rachael joined in 2018 and specialises in design, trade mark and copyright litigation, with a particular focus on the luxury, fashion and retail industries. She has fast-tracked Kemp Little’s growth of its market-renowned luxury retail practice, combining a number of skillsets around the firm. In the past year, she has led some high profile High Court cases for both Charlotte Tilbury and TK Maxx, which has elevated the firm’s profile in the retail space. She is also one of the co-founders of Dupe Killer, Kemp Little’s patent pending AI tool which we train to track and trace design infringements.
Managing Partner Andrew Joint said: “We are delighted to welcome both Rachael and Marian to the Equity Partnership. We genuinely recognise the values and benefits of having diverse and different voices which allows those perspectives to be heard and respected. Both Marian and Rachael are exemplary lawyers, leading in their fields and driving Kemp Little onwards to greater things.”
